Theatre 55 Classes
We have been teaching creative dramatics, dance and improv for six years, focusing on building skills starting at the participant’s own level. Our instructors have appeared on our stage, and stages across the Twin Cities and beyond.
5-6 week sessions are scheduled each Spring and Fall with different offerings each session. Classes are generally held on Saturdays. Registration opens about 6 weeks prior to the first class.

The Nancy Brofford Scholarship Fund
The Nancy Brofford Scholarship Fund will provide partial scholarships to applicants. Please fill out the attached form to be considered for the scholarship. We will notify you of your scholarship amount if you are awarded one.

Making a Scene
Theatre is a place of discovery, discussion, empathy and understanding and while thoughts and direction are limitless, it all begins with the words on the page—what the playwright wants to communicate. This class will instill confidence and experience through the preparation and presentation of short scenes from selected plays.

If you’re looking to dive into musical theatre dance, this class is a fun way to get started. We’ll cover the basics, help you become more coordinated and flexible, and give you plenty of opportunities to express yourself creatively, all in a supportive and upbeat setting.
