Theatre 55 believes in the creativity and vitality of seniors, and is dedicated to offering opportunities for growth and learning.
This fall, we’ve got classes in Dance taught by nationally-known choreographer Stuart Pimsler, and two levels of Improvisation, taught by Theatre 55 regular, Dane Stauffer.
Creative Movement With Leah
Creative Movement sessions, led by Leah Nelson, offer a dynamic and mindful body movement experience. Classes incorporate techniques from floor barre to various dance styles, enhanced by diverse music. Running Saturdays from March 2 to April 6, 2024, at the Center for Performing Arts, Minneapolis, the course costs $95. Nelson is a celebrated dancer and advocate for social change through art.
Improv With Dane
Explore the exhilarating world of improvisation with instructor Dane Stauffer at the Center for Performing Arts, Minneapolis, starting March 2nd. Over six Saturdays, participants will enhance their creativity, listening, and confidence through entertaining theatre games. Past attendees celebrate the class’s fun approach to reviving playfulness. Enrollment costs $95 for sessions promising both personal growth and group bonding.
